Hedwig has two plans: Free and Pro. The Free plan gives you everything you need to create invoices, get paid, manage clients, and track earnings. Pro adds automation and reporting features that save time as your volume grows.

Your Pro entitlement is shared between the web app and the mobile app. Whether you subscribe on web or through the mobile in-app purchase, your Pro access activates on both platforms automatically. You only need one subscription.

What Pro adds

AI assistant — full chat with read access to your workspace, the Creation Box for natural-language invoicing, and the suggestions engine that surfaces overdue follow-ups, expense categories, and missing milestone invoices. See the Assistant reference. AI document import — drag a PDF or image into the chat panel and Hedwig OCRs the file, classifies it (invoice, contract, receipt, bank statement), and pre-fills a record for your approval. Daily brief and weekly summary — concise emails (and dashboard cards) summarizing what changed, what is overdue, and where revenue is heading. Multiple payout banks — add bank accounts in Nigeria, Ghana, the US, and the UK. Clients pick from a currency dropdown on every public invoice and payment link. See Bank payouts. External integrations — connect Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, and Docs so the assistant can match emails to clients, surface relevant attachments, and stage calendar events. Recurring invoice automation — set an invoice to send automatically on a schedule (weekly, monthly, or custom). Hedwig creates and sends each recurrence without you needing to log in. Useful for retainer clients or any work billed at a regular cadence. Tax summary reports — generate monthly and yearly income summaries ready to send to your accountant. Each report groups paid invoices, payment links, and logged expenses with per-client breakdowns. See Track your earnings for details. Full revenue history — Free covers the last 30 days; Pro keeps everything: trend, payment-source breakdown, and activity feed without time limits. Upgrading to Pro

On the web

Open the Pricing page

Navigate to hedwigbot.xyz/pricing or click Upgrade in the sidebar banner.

Choose a billing interval

Toggle between Monthly (5/month)andAnnual(5/month) and **Annual** (48/year, saving 20%). Annual billing works out to $4/month.

Start your free trial

Click Start free trial. You will be redirected to a secure checkout. Pro includes a 7-day free trial — you will not be charged until the trial ends.

Complete checkout

Enter your payment details. Once confirmed, your Pro access activates immediately on both web and mobile.

On mobile

Open the Pro paywall

Tap any Pro-gated feature (such as Recurring invoices or Tax summaries), or go to Settings → Manage subscription.

Select a plan

The paywall presents the monthly and annual options with pricing. Select the one you want.

Complete the in-app purchase

Confirm the purchase using your App Store or Google Play account. The payment is processed by the store. Once approved, your Pro access activates on both mobile and web.
If you plan to manage your subscription from the web (for example, to switch between monthly and annual), subscribe via the web checkout. Mobile store subscriptions can only be cancelled through the App Store or Google Play, not through the Hedwig web app.

Managing your subscription

Switching between monthly and annual

If you subscribed on the web, you can switch billing intervals at any time from the Pricing page without cancelling:
  1. Go to hedwigbot.xyz/pricing.
  2. Select the interval you want to switch to.
  3. Click Switch to yearly billing (or Switch back to monthly billing).
The change takes effect at your next billing cycle. You will see a confirmation message when the switch is saved.
Switching billing intervals is only available for web (Polar) subscriptions. If you subscribed through the iOS App Store or Google Play, you must manage the billing interval from within the store’s subscription settings.

Viewing your current plan

On web: Click your avatar → Settings → scroll to the Subscription section. Your current plan, billing interval, and next renewal date are displayed here. On mobile: Go to Settings and look for the subscription status row. Tap it to open the full subscription management screen.

Cancelling your subscription

Web subscription

  1. Go to hedwigbot.xyz/pricing.
  2. Click Manage subscription below the Pro plan card.
  3. You will be redirected to the billing portal where you can cancel.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain Pro access until then.

Mobile subscription (iOS)

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions.
  3. Find Hedwig and tap Cancel Subscription.

Mobile subscription (Android)

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptionsSubscriptions.
  3. Find Hedwig and tap Cancel subscription.
Cancelling your subscription immediately stops future charges. Your Pro access remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, your account moves back to Free and Pro-only features (recurring invoices, tax summaries) become read-only.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends. If you cancel before day 7, no charge is made.
Pro status syncs automatically between platforms. If it does not appear immediately, sign out and back in on the web app. If the issue persists, contact support — manual sync can be triggered from your account.
Pausing is not currently supported. If you want to stop paying temporarily, cancel your subscription. You can re-subscribe at any time and your data will still be there.
Recurring invoice schedules will be paused when your Pro access ends. No new invoices will be generated automatically. Existing sent invoices are unaffected and clients can still pay them.
