This guide walks you through the fastest path to getting paid with Hedwig: create an account, complete your profile, create an invoice, share a payment link, and receive USDC directly into your wallet. The whole process takes less than ten minutes.
1

Create your account

Go to hedwigbot.xyz and click Get started or Sign in.You have three ways to sign up:
  • Continue with Google — your name and email are pulled in from your Google account automatically.
  • Continue with Apple — sign in with your Apple ID.
  • Email — enter your email address and Hedwig sends you a 6-digit verification code. Enter the code to continue.
If you sign up with email, check your inbox for a message from Hedwig. The code expires after a few minutes. If it doesn’t arrive, check your spam folder and use the Resend code button on the verification screen.
2

Complete your profile

First-time users are prompted to enter a first name and last name. Your email is pre-filled from the sign-in method you used and cannot be changed here. Both fields are required. Your name is how you appear on invoices, contracts, and payment links your clients receive.Click Continue to move to the next step.
3

Set your monthly revenue goal

Hedwig asks you to set a monthly income target. This powers the earnings progress indicator on your dashboard so you can see how close you are to your goal each month.Pick one of the preset tiers — Starter (1,000),Growing(1,000), **Growing** (5,000), or Established (10,000)orusethesteppertodialinacustomfigurein10,000) — or use the stepper to dial in a custom figure in 500 increments.Click Get started. Hedwig creates your account and takes you to your dashboard.
You can change your monthly target at any time from your profile settings. Setting a realistic number makes the earnings dashboard more useful from day one.
4

Create your first invoice

From the dashboard, go to WorkspaceClients and add your first client. You’ll need at least a client name and email address.Once you have a client, open MoneyInvoices and click New invoice. The AI assistant can help you draft line items and descriptions — just describe the work and it fills in the details.Fill in:
  • The client this invoice is for
  • A description of the work
  • The amount in USDC
  • A due date (optional)
Click Save when you’re done. The invoice is saved as a draft until you’re ready to send.
5

Share the payment link

Open the invoice and click Send. Hedwig generates a payment link you can share directly with your client — via email, WhatsApp, or any other channel. When your client opens the link, they can pay in USDC on whichever supported chain suits them: Base, Solana, Celo, or Stacks (Bitcoin L2). They don’t need a Hedwig account to pay.
You can also create a standalone payment link without an invoice. This is useful for quick payments or deposits. Go to MoneyPayment links to create one.
6

Receive the payment

When your client pays, the USDC lands directly in your Hedwig embedded wallet. You’ll see the transaction appear in your dashboard under Recent payments and your earnings totals update immediately. You can view your wallet balance and transaction history from the Wallet section of the dashboard. If you want to move funds to a local currency like NGN or GHS, use the integrated offramp from the same section.
Hedwig creates embedded wallet addresses for you on Ethereum-compatible chains (used for Base and Celo) and Solana when you first sign up. These are non-custodial wallets tied to your account — you own the keys.
